Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ARZ Movers (moversdubai.ae). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our moving, packing, and storage services. By booking a service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. General Agreement

ARZ Movers (“the Company”) provides relocation and storage services subject to the availability of resources and the accuracy of the information provided by the Customer (“the Client”). A contract is only formed once a booking is confirmed via email, WhatsApp, or a signed quotation.

2. Quotations and Estimates

  • Accuracy: All quotes are based on the volume of goods and services discussed during the initial consultation or site survey.
  • Adjustments: The Company reserves the right to amend the final price if the actual volume of goods, access conditions (e.g., non-functioning elevators), or the scope of work changes on the day of the move.
  • Validity: Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a successful move, the Client agrees to:

  • Access & Permits: Obtain all necessary entry/exit permits from building management or community developers (e.g., Emaar, Nakheel, Dubai Properties).
  • Parking: Ensure a legal parking space is available for the moving truck at both the origin and destination addresses.
  • Valuables: Keep high-value items such as jewelry, cash, passports, legal documents, and small electronics in their personal possession. The Company is not liable for the loss of these items.
  • Presence: Be present (or appoint a representative) during the entire packing and loading process to sign off on the inventory.

4. Items Not to Be Moved

For safety and legal reasons, ARZ Movers will not transport:

  • Hazardous materials (chemicals, gas cylinders, paints, or flammable liquids).
  • Perishable goods (frozen food or unsealed liquids).
  • Illegal substances or firearms.
  • Live plants or pets (unless specifically agreed upon in writing).

5. Insurance and Liability

  • Standard Liability: ARZ Movers takes every precaution to protect your belongings. However, our liability for loss or damage is limited to a pre-defined amount unless the Client opts for “Full Value Protection” or “All-Risk Insurance.”
  • Exclusions: We are not liable for:
    • Mechanical or electrical derangement of appliances (fridges, TVs, PCs) unless there is evidence of external physical damage.
    • Items packed by the Client (PBO – Packed By Owner).
    • Damage caused by wear and tear or inherent fragility.
  • Claims: Any claims for damage must be reported in writing within 24 hours of the move’s completion. Items must be inspected before the crew leaves the premises.

6. Payments and Cancellations

  • Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfers, or online payments.
  • Cancellation Policy: If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled move may be subject to a cancellation fee.
  • Non-Payment: The Company reserves the right to withhold goods (Lien) in the event of non-payment for services rendered.

7. Storage Services

  • Items stored in our facility are subject to monthly storage fees.
  • The Company reserves the right to dispose of or sell stored items if the Client fails to pay storage fees for more than 90 consecutive days, following written notice.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
