What a move actually costs in Dubai
No hidden costs, and no price that changes once the truck is loaded. Here are real bands, what moves them, and how we arrive at your number.
Price bands
Typical costs for a move within Dubai
Realistic ranges including materials, dismantling and reassembly. Your survey produces the actual figure, these are for orientation.

Ranges are wide because access matters as much as contents. A two-bedroom in JVC with lift access and a two-bedroom in an older Deira walk-up hold the same furniture but are not the same job.
All figures are before VAT. UAE VAT at 5% is added to your final invoice.

Volume
How much there is to move, measured at survey rather than guessed from a room count. This is the biggest single factor.
Access
A tower with a booked service lift is quick. A fourth-floor walk-up with identical contents can take twice the crew hours.
Packing
Whether you pack yourself, we pack the fragile items, or we pack everything. Materials are included either way.
Distance
Within Dubai is a minor cost. Abu Dhabi, RAK or Fujairah add fuel, tolls and crew hours, all quoted upfront.
Extras
Storage between handovers, dismantling built-in units, or single heavy items like a piano or a safe.

An itemised price covering crew, vehicle, materials and any extras. It does not change on moving day.
Packing day
Everything is wrapped, boxed and labelled room by room. Furniture is dismantled and its fittings bagged.
Moving day
Loaded, transported and unloaded by the same crew, with floors and doorways protected at both ends.
Setup and clear-up
Furniture reassembled, boxes placed in the right rooms, and all packing waste taken away.

Questions about pricing
Why can you not give me a price over the phone?
We can give you a band, the table on this page is exactly that. What we will not do is give a firm number without seeing the job, because that number always gets revised upward on moving day. Send photos on WhatsApp and we can often quote without a visit.
Do you charge hourly or a fixed price?
Fixed, after a survey. Hourly billing puts the risk on you: if the job runs long, you pay for it. A fixed quote means we absorb our own inefficiency, which is the right way round.
What is not included in the quoted price?
Nothing that we know about at survey. Materials, dismantling, reassembly and clear-up are all in. UAE VAT at 5% is added to the final invoice, as it is on any licensed service in Dubai. The only other things that change a price are things that change the job: extra items, a different address, or a service you add later.
Do you take a deposit?
Not before the survey, ever. Once you accept a written quote we take a booking deposit to hold the date, and the balance is due on completion.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. We accept Tabby and Tamara through our online payment page, so a move can be split into interest-free instalments.
